Y'all ever have one of those moments when you're drawing one of your OCs, and suddenly....you realize that their expression is just....staggering? Like, you haven't drawn that expression yet or you see it on their faces very rarely, or both. I was working on a sketch of Roan (my flighty, flamboyant elf), and before I knew it he had his rare "serious ass-kicking" look, where if you argued with what he was doing you'd actually get yelled at o_o
It's awesome and epic, yet also kinda scary at the same time! I mean, it's so rare to see a frown on his face, much less a serious/determined expression when things are going rough. To actually draw it and not be able to look away, I realize I have created one helluva powerful character as far as personality goes. He's solid, and he has a strength I've not yet tapped into, but I wanna. In small doses, tho, Roan is by nature very un-serious XD playful git. >.>; holy hell, I'd hate to see an enraged look on his face. Can you say magic-induced natural disasters of epic proportions?
I'm curious to see if any of my fine watchers have done anything similar. Can be with canon characters or OCs, and it doesn't have to be the seriousness. It can also be the other side of the spectrum, for those serious-types that are rarely heard laughing or something xD
