So I just had my first day of work in over a week since my surgery. I only worked for 4.5 hours and I feel like I've worked an 8-hour long shift x.x; could be cuz i was dehydrated. I even ate before I went in so I could have some energy, and the night before I had some glorious 11-hour sleep! >.>; guess I'm still kinda sorta recovering xD; Still not as strong yet.

however! I have my stitches out, got 'em out yesterday (Monday). Been arting during my recovery time, tho not nearly as much as I thought. My mojo gets jumpstarted in my brother's presence, believe it or not. Could be just cuz I'm happier around him, which isn't that much of a surprise considering how close we've always been.

For Easter me, my brother, mother, and our friend Debbie all went up to Canyon Lake to visit my Great-Aunt Caroline and Great-Uncle Don. Their daughters Peggy and Sandy were also there, so was Peggy's husband Joe, and Sandy's daughter Khadijah. She's 7 but she's very smart and loves her family. Uncle Don's brother, sister and mother were also there, which was cool ^^, also a couple friend of Aunt Caroline's. Aaand last but not least Peggy's son Douglas. ._. at least, I think he's Peggy's son xD;; He's definitely one of my cousins, I do know that. We had some brisket and ribs with other fixins :3 good stuff, especially that brisket x3~

So now it's back to the grind. It's gonna be hell Fiesta Week x.x The town will be overrun everywhere. It's a wonderfully festive time, but it sucks when you have to work and not be able to enjoy it.
