Okay, like I said I'll be givin' the details here about my surgery. The first part was done rather quickly, 20 questions and all that xD, meeting with the anesthesiologist, getting told about the procedures, then I changed into one of those hospital gowns where you hafta be naked underneath. hair cap, too.

After that they wheeled me to a holding room on a stretcher where I got to meet a couple more nurses and get the IV needles stuck into me. I also met the surgeon's chief assistant, and I made sure to ask for a note or letter to take to work about my recovery period. Thus far I definitely have a week off. Anyway! I got a small dose of sedation in me and I watched as they rolled me to the O.R. I swear I don't remember a thing after that, but i musta closed my eyes after a bit and just instantly passed out XD

Since the incision was in my neck they had to stick a breathing tube down my throat. Needless to say I woke up with a sore throat and dry-as-hell mouth. Had a bit of nausea no thanks to the sedative, but as time went on it dissipated. Daddy, his wife Sally, Grandma, and Mommy all came to see me. Later James Franklin came by to see me too ^^ he's an old family friend that Grandpa taught, I've known 'im since I was real little. Haven't seen Markie yet since the day before, but I reckon I'll see him and Nathan soon enough.

So now I have antibiotics to take, ointment to use on the incision, and I have a drain attached to my neck that I need to empty morning and evening into a container. I'm getting that sucker removed Monday. =.= I'm also still a wee bit tired. I'll probably be napping off and on today. Peace, yo.
