So yesterday at work was interesting XD I surprisingly had a lot of laughs. This is why having walkie talkies at work is great. That's how we communicate rather than clog the lines by using our in-store phones. Well, my front-end supervisor, Janie, had a call on line 1 for one of our managers, Veronica. So she goes and pages Veronica 3 times using the phones. XD Veronica responds by yelling at Janie on the walkies, and here I am hearing this and snickering to myself while sizing shoes.

Later on one of my coworkers, Patty, is trying to gather up the rampant carts and put them back where they belong. She has a clumsy moment and ends up knocking down 3 metal bars, plus the hangers on said bars, from our hanger rack on the floor. I have never seen such a shocked look on Ruthie's face before, and poor Patty was so embarrassed. XD I laughed out loud, loud enough that Janie said to me on the walkie, "Dang, Jessica, I could hear you all the way from home department." >.> Which, for those who know me, is not surprising in the least. I could be heard from the top of a hill if I wanted.

And to top it off while I was being tilled out so I could go home, Veronica was using this lil' green pen she likes. It's a rectractable, so I guess the spring musta broke or something, cuz after a while the end of the pen kept getting pushed back in. "Aww man, and I like this pen." <--she said that like three or four times while trying to still use the sucker XDD I could not stop giggling.

Moving on! Allergies are kickin' my butt after I wake up no thanks to all the oak pollen running around (bloomin' trees, literally). My surgery date has been moved to April 4th instead of the 3rd, and I found out they recommend a week-long recovery period. Owch. So Ima request it and hope for the best. If I get only 5 days off that's fine too. More hours for everyone else, I could honestly use the break.

Memorial services for Grandpa Lowery are this Saturday. I obviously will not be working that day, scheduled or not ^_____^ Now I'm currently passing the time 'til I gotta go to work >.> work 4 to 8 today, on a Thursday. Hopefully we're not too busy.
