ContentEDIT: Sorry about that, went to Wally World (AKA Wal-Mart) with my grandmother so she could get Grandpa another pair of Dr. Scholl's shoes. XD; Then I ate and took nap, then played Maplestory for a bit and finally got my pirate to lvl 30.
Let's just say I am glad I only work for 4 hours tomorrow, I'll be able to sleep as much as I need to/want to.
Oh, and Jack FM online is good stuff :3 live streaming, yay! cuz I dun get that station too well out where I live xD;
Been sketchin' a few, also worked on coloring a pic for a bit. I try to keep usage of layers to a minimum, but sometimes it's unavoidable.

Lessee....to lock transparency in PS, I believe there's a lock icon by the layer name. You can also go to the Layer menu and lock transparency that way.
As for the definition of transparency, in case you're still unclear: It's basically invisible pixels. They're literally transparent.
